He is extremely accomplished in planning, organizing, and building companies. Mr. Edwards is a highly experienced leader with excellent managerial skills. Mr. Edwards founded and served as Chairman and CEO of BCI, Inc. a leading long distance reseller that operated in 44 states creating profitable revenues in excess of $200 million.
Mr. Edwards was formerly General Manger of Nikor Wireless Communications, LLP, one of the largest cellular telephone service resellers in the U.S. at the time. Mr. Edwards served in management positions with Fortune 500 companies; Motorola C&E, Inc., RCA Global Communications, Inc., and Graphic Scanning, Inc. continually being involved in the cutting edge of communications.
Mr. Edwards has received multiple patents and have patents pending with EMCS, Inc., where he currently serves as Chairman and President for EMCS and its subsidiaries Bedrock Services and EMCS Bedrock Electronic Security Technologies, Inc. Mr. Edwards was twice a finalist for the U.S. Entrepreneur of the Year Award and is well known as a leading supporter of literacy in our urban areas supporting ADVANCE, National Urban Literacy Coalition, and having served with his wife, Jean, on the Barbara Bush “A Celebration for Reading” fundraiser committee.
